Su Wu Herbs began in 2009 as a natural extension of the granular pharmacy maintained by Justin Penoyer, M.S., L.Ac. Justin is an Oriental medical physician and graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where he studied traditional and integrative medical herbology alongside some of the foremost practitioners and contemporary authors in the field. Now in private practice, Justin maintains a holistic family care clinic in San Diego where he specializes in the application of Integrative Chinese and Functional medicines in the treatment of immunological, endocrine, and fertility disorders.

Along with practicing Chinese medicine, Justin is a horticulturalist and medical anthropologist with degrees in Philosophy, History, Horticulture, and Traditional Arabic Medicine, and is a member of The Herb Society of America, The American Herbalist’s Guild, and The Chinese Herb Society.
